Our Admissions Process

We are a Catholic parish K-8 school that fosters academic excellence in a family-oriented community.  We invite you to visit our campus to learn more about us and connect with our staff at one of our upcoming Open House events.

Additional Documents

Please promptly submit a copy of the below to the front office:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Baptismal Certificate

  • Immunization Records

  • Family Photograph

  • Teacher evaluation forms.

  • Letter of recommendation

  • Applicants for grades 1-8, please also include a copy of the child's last two report cards.

Request Teacher Evaluation

Application Fee

A $75 application fee is due with an application submission. Please click on the PayPal link below to pay with your PayPal Account or Debit/Credit Card.

 Evaluations

 

 

Student evaluations will be scheduled by the front office once the application is submitted, application fee is paid, and all additional documents have been received.

Kindergarten priority evaluations 

are scheduled for January 23rd, 2021.

Financial Aid

Any family wishing to receive financial assistance for tuition must apply each year. Please use this link to complete your Financial Aid Application. Incomplete applications cannot be considered for financial assistance. Contact the school office at (408) 723-7223 or school front office.

Acceptance Notification:
 A welcome or waiting list letter will be sent to families within two weeks of screening/testing. If accepted, a non-refundable registration fee is required to enroll the child in school.
Please Note:
 Students entering into Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1 for the following school year.

When does the school begin to accept applications for the next school year?


Applications for the next school year are available online. We are currently accepting applications. Please click on link above to apply.




What considerations are used to determine admission to St. Christopher School?


The following priorities apply: Highest priority – Siblings of children currently attending St. Christopher Catholic School Second – Catholic children of families registered at St. Christopher Parish Third – Catholic children of families registered at other Catholic Parishes Fourth – Any other children who meet the admission criteria




Does St. Christopher School maintain a waiting list?


Yes. Children are accepted to St. Christopher using the priorities listed above. If a child qualifies for admission, but there is not a space available in the class, he/she is placed on a waiting list. If a space opens up, the parent will be notified.




How many children are accepted to kindergarten each year?


We accept up to 64 students, 32 in each of the two kindergarten classes.




What criteria are used to determine kindergarten acceptance?


Developmental and social readiness are the most important factors. These are key elements in school success.
